Promblem?
I wanted to add a fancy background to my blogger but unfortunately it collided with my header so i decided to go for a minimalists look of plane black.
Adding work.
Adding work into the work page.
Slicing my work into boxes for use in Dreamweaver.
Auto- margin, position-relative, Page properties -0px margin.
Adding large versions to view when clicked on thumbnail.
I originally wanted to open a new page when my images where clicked, but realised that this could be a potential leak from my site.
Producing a Header.
I started to produce a header for my blog on photoshop.
I changed my last name from Bellamy to my middle name, Edward, so when the text was reflected it would mach perfectly, as the 'y' in Bellamy made it look odd.
I then added a blurred light underneath to help the reflection look more realistic.
I stretched the shadow and used the eraser to fade out the bottom.
Final result.
I then used a photograph i took as my background. I got this effect by using a long exposure on my camera and a torch.
Trying to add some effects.
I wanted to add some effects into my website using Dreamweaver's built in effects library.
Unfortunately my experimentation did not pay off as images would hide behind other images.
I tried again and decided to delete the background so the images wouldn't hide behind other images. It worked fine until i added more than one image.
I decided to give it up and give Light-box another try.
